Mimi here.<\/p>\n<p>As someone who has played in this band since it&#8217;s inception, I am so pleased to announce that,\u00a0 yes, The Rum Syndicate is finally recording original music. As many of you know, we do have originals, but as Tommy often quipped, &#8220;you can hear our songs anywhere we play live!&#8221; That all changes now.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve got the recording studio locked in and we&#8217;ve been charting songs and practicing them as if they were new to us. I even have a book with lists of all the things to consider when making an EP. Everything from budget to marketing, song splits and merch costs. We&#8217;re putting in the work to give you the very best we can.<\/p>\n<p>Many of you have been fans for years and we want you to feel like you&#8217;re a part of this journey. We&#8217;re doing this together.<\/p>\n<p>Keep posted for updates on when we&#8217;ll be releasing the songs, when we&#8217;ll be on the radio, what streaming services you can find us at, merch drops, and more.
