We love music and that means we don’t pigeon-hole ourselves when it comes to projects we participate in. Don’t get us wrong: we LOVE doing rockabilly, surf, and swing. We also love learning genres we wouldn’t typically do. We believe this makes us better, more dynamic musicians.
Besides The Rum Syndicate, we also play out as an acoustic duo— Tommy & Mimi– covering various genres. This duo allows us to play more intimate settings and Mimi gets to showcase her vocal chops. You can find those gigs alongside The Rum Syndicate gigs on our event calendar.
Another project that Tommy is proud to be a part of is the horror-surf rock band, The Vindicators. This four-piece band is quickly becoming a staple in the Tampa Bay alt-rock scene. He’s even proud that he gets to play a RatRod Guitar for this project as he is one of the faces of the company. This sponsorship is sure to be one of many.
The last project we are a part of is Brittany Baldwin & the Bee Stings. The whole band is in this project! We back Miss Brittany Baldwin herself— a powerhouse vocalist in her own right– covering big songs by artists like P!nk, Adele, Def Leppard, Prince, Heart, and more. We even do some of Brittany’s originals. Every show is filled with high energy and will keep you dancing.
We’ll be playing as The Bee Stings tomorrow night (1/3/25) at Salty Nun in St. Pete. Fun starts at 7pm.
